BOOKING YOUR DATE
We can provisionally hold a date for 7 days – so if you have one in mind – lets get it on hold and ensure no one else beats you to it!
You can view our full hire rates here – broken down based on your preferred time of year and day of the week for 2025, 2026 and 2027 wedding dates.
Our 2025 offers include £2000 off venue hire on remaining peak dates & £1000 off venue hire on remaining off peak dates, with the opportunity to secure all of our accommodation for a further reduced cost of £5500 there is a great saving to be made on the dates we have left – and we would be delighted to get your plans underway with you so you can spend Christmas sharing your good news with your special guests ❤
When your date is on hold, we will send you over everything you need in order to arrange your ceremony with Hampshire Registry Office. They will handle the legal side – and we will ensure the fun stuff is taken care of.
Payment Schedules: The boring but important bit
To confirm your date, once your hold is over – we will require a deposit of 50% venue hire + a £1500 catering.
Depending on your confirmed date, your next payment will either be due in 6 months time, or half way between booking and the wedding – this will be a catering stage payment of £1500, and in addition the balance for your Luxury Pyggy or if you have decided to secure all of our on site accommodation the 50% deposit to secure this at the discounted rate.
Your final payment will be due 3 months prior to your date – at this stage we will finalise your menus, you will confirm your guest numbers and we will raise the balances due on your venue hire, accommodation and your food and drink based on your confirmed guests. Ensuring your only paying for the people there and not committing your budget to guests who cannot make it.
The menus at Silchester Farm are a laid-back, luxurious celebration of modern British countryside dining. With homegrown ingredients and carefully curated dishes showcasing the very best of the seasons ensuring that every guest shares an incredible meal with you.
Prices start from £96 (in 2025) and £103 (in 2026) per person inclusive of VAT and include a choice of 3 canapés, a starter, main and dessert. You can explore sample menus here and hopefully the sneak peek at dishes today has given you a good idea and understanding of the huge selection of new options that will be available to you through your planning journey. Never forgetting the evening food, our outdoor kitchen will create a sociable selection of delicious dishes including open fire cooking, Kamado Joe grill for low and slow meats and wood fired oven for sunset pizzas and sweet upgrades to offer treats till late.
Once booked you will be able to work with our events team through your planning to choose and create a menu to suit you both, there is lots to look forward to and as discussed its most important that you select food you love - and we will look after your guests with any dietary requirements.
Eating
Good food, comes hand in hand with great drinks, therefore, we have carefully created a choice of drinks to keep your guests refreshed throughout your celebrations. Our menu allows you to tailor a collection as bespoke as your day itself. As important as the food you share with guests on the day, we want to ensure that your drinks flow and you have the combination of cocktails, wine and fizz you love.
We have two fully licensed, beautiful rustic bars here at Silchester Farm. Both are stocked with local ales, a premium selection of spirits and wines sourced from the UK and beyond, as well as a selection of soft drinks and sustainably sourced water. Our new premium craft Silchester Farm Wingless Eagle Gin has recently won an international award and we have recently launched our flavoured collection, alongside our new Spiced and White Rum. One thing is for sure, no one will be thirsty as in addition to the drinks allocated within your wedding collection, both of our beautiful bars have options for pay as you go or you can set up a pre-paid tab ahead of the day. Drink upgrades including cocktail hours and the perfect ‘bubbly tower’ offers showstopping photo opportunities too.

Fairy Lights & Evening Entertainment
As a reminder, the additional fairy lights in the indoor ceremony Hampshire Threshing Barn, Hen House & The Cow Shed for your sit-down meal/evening reception are bookable through Farnham Sound & Light directly on enquiry@farnhamsoundandlight.co.uk or 01252 986 661. Utilising the fairy lights are optional, but the installation will stay up, and as a nominated evening entertainment provider their team will be happy to put together a proposal for you inclusive of the lights and all of your other requirements.
We understand how important it is to have great music for your evening reception, in light of this we have nominated 3 suppliers who are approved to provide your entertainment for your evening celebration. . .

Please note that no other suppliers are approved for your evening celebration and will not be permitted to play on site unless booked through the above contacts. All of these companies will be pleased to take your enquiry and work with you to create the perfect party for you and your guests throughout the night.
Your venue hire includes exclusive use of The Woodshed preparation suite. Check in for The Woodshed is 9:30am.
The Retreat, opens up accommodation for up to 47 guests in total. The Barn House sleeps 12 across 5 double / 1 twin room and the The Farmhouse sleeps 15 across 6 doubles / 1 triple room. Both houses and your Luxury Couples suite (Pyggy Thyme) form part of your booking, and we will open up a direct portal for your wedding day – allowing you to share links with your guests so they can book their rooms directly. If occupancy is not fulfilled then remaining rooms will be allocated to your final invoice 3 months prior to the wedding. Should you wish to open up additional rooms outside of the houses, our newest addition ‘The Drift’ – made up of our additional 8 Pyggies and Granary have been designed beautifully to offer a space for guests who appreciate their own rooms and some privacy. Your guests can also book these directly on a first come first serve basis ahead of your special day. You will find some images here, which hopefully give you a good feel for the rooms, ahead of considering what room might suit your guests. Having explored today we are sure you don’t need to be convinced every guest will be comfortable and hope to come back again and again!
Check in is 2pm & check out is 10am. All stays include a beautifully curated breakfast by our very own head chef, using all the best local produce and a few extra treats.
If you would like to stay the night before your wedding, then accommodation can be booked providing we have the availability. We can usually confirm availability for this a couple of months ahead of your day, but we can review dates in 2025 slightly earlier. If you are looking for a multi day celebration we also offer dedicated 2 day options so you can extend your wedding if you wish. For additional guests, we also have some great hotels nearby and trustworthy transport options which we can provide you with all the details for during your planning process.
Staying Over
We would love to know how you feel your visit went and hear your thoughts. If you have a few minutes, it would be really helpful if you can complete a short survey on your visit HERE. Upon completion we would be pleased to offer you a discount when you come back - you can pop to our new Farmshop The Trough and pick up some locally sourced treats or a tipple OR visit us for a public event and have a drink on us at the bar ❤️ Alternatively if you are booked with us, then we will include a bottle of fizz, chilled and ready to enjoy on your wedding day, something to look forward to at the end of your day in the comfort of your luxury pyggy.
